NYFW: Oxford Collections

I've seriously been anxious to post because it has been way too long. Like I actually feel deprived of blogging. Since school started, I have been having super long days and not enough sleep. That didn't stop me at all from heading to NYFW though and obsessing over everything for SS16. I have a lot to share in my upcoming posts since so much has been happening in many aspects.

Day 1 started out with a Chanel pop-up event I was invited to featuring their new Boy.Friend watch. The event was very Chanel and they had super cute entertainment like photobooths and selfie zones.

I was then off to Oxford Fashion Week at The High Line Hotel which is a great location. I got there earlier than expected, so I hung around the hotel lobby and ended up finding another NYFW event going on at the hotel, which I got welcomed right into. Town & Country Magazine Atelier had a SS16 event allowing fashionistas to recharge during the day by giving free manicures by Zoya and mimosas. Jewelry designer, Stephanie Kantis, was also there showing her beautiful collection. I obviously fell in love with everything!

From there I walked across the hotel to the ballroom for Oxford FW to watch the independent collections. I was seated in the front row and the show began quickly after. Each designer had such creative garments that really caught my eye. They were looks that I could really picture myself wearing. The show really opened my eyes to seeing the difference between American and European fashion.
